A THOUGHT

through space and time 
there are so many unanswered questions 
the mysteries mortals may never elucidate 
the wonders of the world we populate 
while great men contemplate these great perplexities 
lesser men work on inconsiderable portents 
and even though clearly these are squinny marvels 
they are nevertheless awe influent to the plebs
and so I sit here in deep deliberation
pondering my universe 
my place in it 
your place in it 
and while I understand the forces 
that drive most of the actions 
i still cannot help but be in wonderment
that in those precise infinitesimal slices of time 
how your thoughts are my own.
