Double Gun

Yes, indeed this night was "really fun" as you state so much more bluntly than I ever could.
"It's been real." I say with a double gun.
"I really had a good time. It was so cool." What an honest plate you serve.
"Likewise. Well, I'll see you." I force open the van door and wave. 
Slam. Go. Walk. Climb stairs.
I wanted to say those things too, you know. 
You were not the only one who felt the beautiful absurdity in our silences and laughter.
God.
Together we found HIM tonight
in the gamepieces, 
in the music, 
in the coffee.
I want to say that I had a really good time. It was so cool.
