Jungle Lust

You smile down,
Bright as the Sun,
Fingers rooted to the bed,
Tall Oak arms reaching high
To your body, the Sky,
Trapping me in the dome of your lust.

Quaking my world
Tornado breathe
Ocean bath
Amazon heat
Animalistic hunt
Drawing primal cries from my hoarse throat.

Oh God

You smile down.
As if my cry renamed you The Savior
As if my cry were a tangible golden trophy
As if my cry made you the ONLY "One"
Like you are for your others
(Think I don't know?)
As if my cry was anything more than a "Thank You",
Before I say Good Bye.
