Those Lips

As I watch you speak
I don't hear the words.
I know I should listen...
but I can't help it.
Your mouth moves so exsquisitly,
my mind thinks "how delishiously"
your lips look as they form each word.
Then there are your eyes
so sparkling blue.
then there's your laugh, 
it distracts me too!
So warm and inviting
simply delighting.
Here's what I see 
when I look at you. 
Joy, peace and love,
Sent to me in you 
from God above.
How thoughtfull of him.
"Thank You God" I say.
He's blessed me in so many many ways.
Then I hear you say
"Are you listening to me"?
"No" I simply say, "But I hear you".
Now back to those lips!  :-)
