Remember the text books
from elementary school days
handed out at the beginning of each school year?
At the back of the book was stamped
"date, Student Name, and year book issued."
The stamp was filled with names of other
students gone on before who then returned
the book for future use.
A temporary phase the book was lent,
the stamp was filled to capacity,
until someone said
this book is
out of
date.
