Rolling Over

tulips etch your name in the sky,
towering un-mowed blades of grass
weave makeshift huts,
and your body blankets me
as Spring introduces itself.

sunlight burns the outline
of my hold on your back
careful warm/cool breezes
try to chill our over heated
bodies, the fury of passion.

and when we've molded the earth
to fit our forms, and the clouds
have all run home, and the sun has
painted her bed, and ours, orange
I'll flip you over, and start again.
