Shadow

I look at you....
All I see is pain.
Destruction and despair
follow eagerly behind.
Just like a shadow....
I can see it twisting
Conforming into shapes that remind me of...
Memories stolen from the recesses of my soul;
Consumed by the evil eminating within the shadow.
Only I can see this shadow;
This monster behind you.
Only I can see the darkness
That surrounds you 
Because it surronded me once.
But now it is gone
Leaving only traces of
Sadness and suffering behind.
But the darkness still lurks behind you
Watching and waiting
Searching for its next victim.
They never see it coming.
Never.
