Hindsight is not 20/20
when looking through the
eyes of love
Not that love is blind
but it does alter the
perceptions of the lover
rewire the synapses of the heart
Even so, 
    through these dark glasses
        I can clearly see
            how important
        you have always been to me
            how loving you has
    changed my life and made
me want to be better than I am
    and to never accept that
        I am ever going to be
            as good as you deserve
                but to accept that your
love will always make up
    for what I cannot accept in myself.
