Lottery

Love is like the lottery.
People want to only 
invest a dollar for
millions in returns.
And they don’t want to
buy a ticket every day -
just when the payoff might
be astronomically large.
But with love
too many easily forget
that it is not that
you win or lose -
it’s that you are
willing to continue
buying those tickets
even though they
seem to pay out to 
every one but us...
