We trade hearts,
bartering for one in return
much like our own to hold,
one which fills the hole
the other left behind
And if it be to thick or thin,
we try again a second, a third , a fourth time:
We swap 'til we are satisfied our beats are entwined
And only then do we look no more
...There is a lot of traffic at this barter store
