Deep End

Like a statue i stare
that glazed look over my face
  unblinking
   unbreathing
    unbinding
each muscle tensed
hands clammy
that feeling the pit of my stomach

no please dont come now
cant you see?
i dont want it!
    and still
my memory washes over me

i see your eyes
i see your tears
i can actually see your heart break

my breath gets shallow
as i slowly drown in you

next time i must remember
to plug my nose
