Drip Drip Drip

Fire lurks in the corners of my eyes
As I sit, still broken, on this chair
The danger is in your hard pressed hug
Your feelings up in the air...

You ask me if you're bad for me
What other answer but yes?
Don't make me think it was all a dream
Everytime we got undressed...

So now I stop to think your thoughts
To taste the fruit of your logic
To dance in your lake of vulnerablility
To detach myself from this project...

Now your answers are lip to lip
To lip on my cold and naked chest
I beg you, tell these feet to walk away
And of you, tell me to forget the best...

Slither snake...you have been sleeping awhile
Bite me and show me no ignorance
Show me that I'm worth caring for at all
And I will work to please you with diligence...

Drip drip drip...Tears may fall
But after a while, I'll forget them all...
