just a few more words

How can a few words
on this page or out of 
my mouth contain but 
a hint of the storm that rages
within me.

Can you see into my
heart through the window
of my words?

Can the sunshine of my
love shine through the
clouds within me that create
distance between us?
How can anyone really know?

I do know this:
The sun is still there
inside me
impatient as ever
wanting, hoping, needing
to shine...

I am sorry I don't
have a magical weather machine
to chase the clouds away.
