menstruation jubilation

Now you're a vampire,
    I told him
smug and glad
satisfied as hell
I'd read about it
in Endless Love
thought it would
    be good
and it was
   he had to say
I was the only girl
 he'd do it for
he had to let me know
  how disgusting 
      it was
   but I admit
  I was too sated
        to care
 smiling I rolled over
     and sank
 into sleep
