Scream

You'll look at the castle alone
no more
for I am here
to share your screams
to rebel at the unfairness 
of the world;
to attempt
to right the wrongs
and undue the injustices
that are laid before us.
I'll scream with you
while the world stands by
idly accepting
what we will not.
I share my lungs
and every breath
with you, my soulmate,
my partner in passion
of life
and one another.
And when we can scream 
no more
I will allow myself
to succumb
to the slow
rhythmic thumping
of our beating hearts.
