GIVE LOVE A CHANCE?

Like a string she leads me
To where I think there's love
Yet it seems our passion can't be
For my heart still keeps it's doubt

Love is sweet yet so savage
So I'll be a lone star in a dark sky
Sure I can give in and look at this stage
But will she be there to dry my eyes

For many times love has been wrong
By deceiving the flesh with sultry beauty
And since a mended heart isn't as strong
It's better my love jar remains empty!
