Watch Me

It is as though
I am always 
  walking in
as you are
  walking out.
I never seem to know
when to step inside
  without tripping
	on the fragments
	  of my heart.

But now you have
someone else
  weaved into your
	tapestry of spells...
  spells so potent
	I find myself
	  still tangled in their web.

Now you demand that 
  I sever the ties
	that bind me to you...
So hand me the torch, then,
  and watch me burn your magic
	into ashes.
  Watch me close this chapter
	of my life,
  watch me start anew.

Forgetting me 
  might have been easy.
But someday,
  it will be your turn
	to walk in...
	  as you watch me
