Love for him

there is someone that I know 
he stole my heart and captured my soul
the days they come and they go 
the summer was hot and the winter cold
and with each passing day I love him more

do you remember the pool so blue
and the sun shimmering too..
that was the day I met you
your hair so dark..
your smile so shy...
I knew that I had to make you mine
when I first looked into his eyes ....I knew I was in for a big surprise

we have held each other for about a year
and with everyday I get closer still
he says that he loves me
and I know this is true
I can see it in his eyes....so tender and true

I  love him with all the earth
the fire and the rain
If I had to do it over..I'd do it all again
for he is my one and only man
