have cast a spell on you,
this mango filling softened with your lips
so delectable and creamy to your delight?
candy-coated aroma floated in the air 
created a lovely setting
underneath where we talked in glee.
you thanked me for being born
during your lifetime,
and for making this luscious dessert 
you never savored before.
today, same cream, same mangoes, 
same graham crackers I mixed
but your fork and saucer are only 
reminiscent of that day 
a hundred sunny mornings ago...
a sweet memory of your words
and the beam your face lit
