My Lesson

You were someone
   That loved me.

You were someone
   That I loved.

Because of you I know
     That I can be someone...
   That could easily be
 Taken advantage of,
   Someone that could be,
 venerable to you.

You taught me how to be 
   Strong, and how to love myself.

You were my lesson.
