Tale

Our relationship is more than
worth fighting for
more than worth even dying for
it is one of a kind
not a fairy tale, though my heart
would gladly build you a legend
You are too real and too important
to ever keep locked
up in a story
Our tale is our life together
and though it is made up
as we go along, it is
not improvised.
The firm ground we travel
upon is the love that
has always been there
underneath us
the unshakable earth.
