Time, Trust, and Tenderness

If you ask most people their opinion of
The secret, or the recipe, for real lasting love
They'll say it's not easy, that it's real hard
That there's a lot more to it than sending flowers or a card
Now what I've found gives no guarantee
To open a door you still need a key
Bring into your life some real happiness
It works with more time, more trust, and some tenderness
You have to MAKE time
You have to GIVE trust
To have THAT tenderness
They're all a must!
