Captain, My Prince

At the edge of eternity, I met my prince.
He swells my heart with emotion, and turns my head 
Into one sweet thought..
My defenses useless to his power, I submit to his heart.
I lie awake and think of him.
I live and breathe each day for him.
My eternity is countered,
The angels have shown me the way.
They have sent me one of their own
My prince, my heart, my love.
He has brought my senses alive again.
He has softly carved his image into my soul.
I will love him, my heart won't lose him.
He has come for me. 
And found me, at the edge of eternity.
