I saw you in my dream last night
You were the last one I expected to find
But the more I think about it
I see that you personified
Something that has been 
In the back of my mind

I dreamt that you were holding me
Caring about me, Focusing 
And though I really don’t care for you
You became something that I need
My mind was playing tricks on me
Now I see it all clearly

I feel alone here in this crowded life
Like I am the only one 
Who cares about me, listens to me
Knows me, shares me
I am caused to wonder who could keep me
Happy, and be happy with me

My dream was warm and comfortable,
Safe, it seemed so true 
You were the one who made me feel that way
