Eternity to Forever

This time that we  have spent
Just makes me want to stay
In your arms forever, silenty pleading
Please don't go away.

As we lay with our hearts pounding
Always wanting to be near
The breeze carrying the message
I whisper lovinglin in your ear, 
"How long is eternity?"

Not waiting for the answer, 
Already dreading your reply,
For I always want to be with you,
Drowning out your voice whispering,
"Our time together is almost through".

In the moments of clear mind
and protected hearts,
We say eternity is in this moment.
And we both readily agree.
But then we lay together, 
I pray these moments of eternity
Will last forever.
