my eyes could tell you
things
  (so hard to not
see them)
  but words
stand in
  instead
  for their green

my eyes could tell you
things 
  (i'm not sure i'd
let them)
  one flash
might say
  more
  than i know

my eyes could tell you 
things
  (their thoughts quickly 
change but)
  "the moment
of change
  is
  the only poem"
