Sea of Dust

You left me in a sea of dust so thick you couldn't have seen me even if you
had bothered to look back...but my heart still longs to feel that connection
we had, but wonders if it was ever real, or just another game you played...
why must everything end in a tidal wave of pain? it goes on and on and on...
drowning every hope and dream i ever had...are you feeling any of these 
feelings? or have you simply forgotten my name...i wonder...
