sandcastle

we built a pretty sandcastle
by the beach of life
beautiful than anything
both of us has ever seen
and it's a wonder how something
as wonderful as this
could be shaped from sand
by our hands, holding hands.
we marvelled at the beauty
built in sweat and tears of hearts
and lots of smiles and inspirations
and our banner flaps gracefully
in one of its towers
it's as grand as a castle could be
and i will live for it,
and die for it if need be.
but we built it a little too close
to the raging waves of life
that i begin to wonder
when comes the time the sun will set
in this beach of life 
will our sandcastle still stand?
yes, as long as we keep holding hands
and not let it grow on it's own
as long as we look after it,
work on it,
stay forever by it.
