In my Hand.
Sitting here at work, I hold a yellow rose in my hand.
A rose ment to be placed next to you, waking up to a day anew.
Plucked straight from my heart only because we are apart.
Yellow to show how much I care and the friendship I hold so dear.
Covered in the morning dew, with a necter oh so sweet.
Looking at is brings a smile, feelings like when I look at you.
Petels perfectly in a band, like our fingers when I hold your hand.
Its beauty, as simple as it is, can never compair to yours.
Oh how she holds me capture in her sweet loving rapture.
But in my hand I hold a yellow rose waiting to be replaced with her.
