hesitation

My heart has a moments hesitation.
It hesitates when I think about 'us'.
Not knowing what to expect when I step from the plane.
Not knowing what tomorrow will bring,
I am so nervous about seeing you face
will it be love that I'll see in your eyes?
will it be distance? longing or fear?
are you as scared as I am?
I don't know what tomorrow with bring
or what my expectations are.
Is this hesitation because I hit the 'STOP' button.
I'd only meant to hit  pause ... (or did I?)
