"Hot Minute"

I get a call from you
   After 5 months of 
complete isolation from me.

Thoes were the best 5 months
   I've had in a while too...

I got my life back together 
   I got my friends back
   I got my family back
     And best of all...
   I thought I got rid of you.

We talked for a few
   You asked where *I* disappeared to
*Me* what a laugh!
*sigh* Why did you have to call me?
   God, why now?

Then you said you'd call me back,
   in a "hot minute."
I haven't heard from you since.
   I couldn't help but wonder
   just how hot that minute was...
