What is this love
that makes us insane?
that breaks our
very souls
into pieces
of shattered lives.

What effect
must it have
on our brain
to create such
hostility
anger
and pain.

Let there be peace
we beg for peace
we only want peace
to love once again.

For what else is there
if not love?
Why else live
if not for love?
Letting love find you
is much easier
than searching
for emptiness.
