Soulmate

I don't know what to do
When I had you
I had everything
I didn't need to do anything to feel special
I just had to see your face everyday
and I felt like I owned the world
And anything I wanted
I had
when I looked into your eyes

I had such a hole inside
you filled
and depression
you took away
and gave me joy
the scars from my last love were what almost what
made me not give you a chance
but I did
and I'm glad for that

I felt like you gave me new life
My veins
filled with happiness
ran to my heart

but now that you're gone
I have nothing
and I feel like nothing
why when I think of happy memories
do I do I only cry with sadness
and leave tear stains on my face

my blood almost quit flowing when
the shock of you gone hit me
because the veins that use to be so happy
are no miserable
my soul feels empty
because only once in a lifetime
do you find someone who fits
perfectly with your soul

I guess I'll have to let go,
though you were my everything
