A Perfect Love

Months have passed
since I first met my love.
She came into my life
Not as a flower or a dove.
She entered my world
as a prayer from above.

I can still remember
as though it were today.
Our hearts beat in perfect time
even miles away.
Our souls bound by a rope
that shall never fray.

My soulmate I have found
and she has found me.
We give each other strength
stronger than the oldest oak tree.
Unlocking our hearts
we hold each others key.

Some are to say
your acting a fool.
They know not true love
or dare to dive in its pool.
Fear and doubts curb love
we must let our hearts rule.

These words I say to you
in hope you'll take heed.
When you find your true love
they'll be all you will need.
Distance and time aren't important
your two hearts must be freed.
