That Place
when I was a little girl
I wondered about it
wondered if it was real
if it existed
and if I would ever make it there
I have made it there
with Him
because of Him
fairy tales are true
I am Rapunzel
I sang my song and He 
found me
in the grocery store
or at the mall
we are Hansel & Gretel
walking hand-in-hand
looking at the world
through fresh eyes
dewy eyes
and I can cry
with Him
I can scream
with Him
for Him
I light candles
create mystery
and enchantment
for him
I stand on my tippy toes
and bring down the brightest stars
I am washed ashore
claimed
chained
My Taurus Keeper
has brought it all out
and I don't think this gleam
will ever
dull
