The Truth! Deal With It.

Clamoring for synaptic release
a bemusement of seeking
atonement
like some post marvelous memory
requiring too much energy
and recovery seems
to escape me.

Will anyone venture to say,
"here then, we are involved
in circumstances
that comtemplate change"?

Let me not delude myself
into supposing for a moment
that normalcy
requires honesty.

However, let me insist
on soul-searching integrity
that blinds events
and 80 year old grandmothers
without motherhood.

Astonished greatly
but hardly serious
is the envy shown
of love and remembrance.

Must we really insist upon it?
unduly stressed,
profoundly philosophical
severely critical
memories will be made
vibrant with the surge
of human passions
while i sit quietly
wearing the white flower
of a blameless life
urbanely plastic
in my lack of moral
equilibrium.
