Friendship or Love?

There is a thin line 
between friendship and love,
one so dangerously easy to cross
if not kept in check...
For, you love your friends,
right? 
But you cannot 'love' your friends!
How ,then, do you stay within the boundaries?
You want to (((HUG))) your friends
and you should, but how tightly?
And if you should kiss them,
how long should that kiss last
And where should that kiss be?
And if the hug and kiss lingers
past the count of your last heartbeat,
is that too long?
Where do you draw the line?
And how do you both know where that line is
drawn, simultanously?
Can you walk such a thin line for long
and maintain your balance?
And if you should fumble,
can you re-draw the line?
How can you be sure
if it is friendship or love?
