Weathered

Seas do calm after it storms
and the sky turns pretty blue
our craft held up well
during this one
and now is weathered
thus, more buoyant too
so we smile as we look at us
bobbing
upon the foam of these newborn waves
knowing we have conquered the torrent
of the seas that love has forgave
