Weaving Dreams

could my song call you in from the rain?
could you hear me even if the thunder was roaring?
would you give up exploring and head toward
my light?
would you weep with relief in my embrace?
would you kiss my face and dry off before
my fire?
is desire mingled with familiarity enough?
in case I'm right
tonight I am weaving dreams for you
for you
for you
tonight I am whispering words of reverence for you
tonight I am grateful for you
tonight I am speaking to the stars for you
Stars, He is Lovely
Stars, He Shines Brighter Than You
Please, Pleiades
You Pale in Comparison to His Spirit
He radiates
He is galaxies of goodness
He is eternity hidden in dreams
He is the magical land behind the cascading water
that falls from a cliff in the jungle
He is the orchard there
the reward for courage and a keen sense of adventure
He is the song I steep my dreams with
So for him
I weave dreams
sing lullabies
smile at the moon
and know
he sees it, too
