Call her
I called because I had to hear her voice.
I called because I need to say her name.
Because I truly have no other choice.
She conquered me in the confusing game.
Now I am lost, alone, and utterly afraid
Of my own hapless heart, my mind, my soul.
Now I know I should have simply stayed;
I should not have run from the one who stole.
Damn heart, it rips and tears his tears and fears.
This runway white rabbit lost his watch;
He hurries hastily from blondie's last tears,
Too scared to fight, and much too fast to catch.
Don't ever fall in love with your good friend.
Don't ever ask her to be your girlfriend.
