Broke In Jeans

I slip you on
after a hard day
to relax and regroup and remember
who I am
You are not a night out at a five star restaurant
You are not tickets to a Broadway show
You are not a tuxedo and an evening gown and a present of diamonds
You will never be a Barbara Streisand concert
But that is fine cause I never cared much for her songs.
But you are popcorn and movies and games on the Playstation
You are Ravioli by Chef Boyardee and a cheap Mexican place on the corner
You are Jimmy Buffett tailgate parties and Miller Light and Super Bowl games
You are a game of catch in the backyard cause I feel like playing
You are my broken in frayed at the bottom jeans.
And you fit just fine.
