when you are the
possessor of a soul that mates for life
it does no good to speak of
a single soulmate
for many souls out there
are compatible, adaptable, malleable...
and one can be happy with another
if both burn with a desire to
fill their roles and
fill each other
so when we love it means more
than what we think of as
some preconceived dreamy notion
that fairies tell tales of
for we have roots as
