like a chain-smoker exhaling another letter in his epitaph...
i'm torn
and the sunshine girl giggling in her patented earth-shaking way
has got me thinking way too much about what exactly it is i'm torn about
it's not that i don't like her boots...they're fine
probably made of spanish leather
probably more than i could afford to buy for myself
probably more than i could afford to lose if the half-and-half fairy every decided to pay us a visit ten or twenty years down the road...when in wedded bliss i would be babbling sweet somethings about her toenail polish, or other ridiculous equivalences i've been known to babble about...when in wedded hell she would radiate scorn and other things contradicting to any vows made years before
or maybe the roles would be flip-flopped...maybe she would be mumbling about my toenail polish...hey, you never know...and maybe i would be staring longingly out some dusty window on a drizzling day...straining to hear a train in the distance...everybody does love that...everybody does think it's true
or maybe it would be wedded bliss...and all of our toenails would be praised for their polish jobs every single day
i guess the only thing that matters
is that the boots really don't
so, why worry about it?
probably just because i haven't even seen her toes yet
maybe i won't like them
really nice boots are kinda suspicious
must be hiding something
and that something would have to be either something really great
or really awful
maybe medusa feet or something...with snakes for toes...
what would i do in that situation???...all anxiously removing her boots in the heat of passion just to be turned to stone
that would be bad
i think
i can't be sure because it's never happened to me before
it has to sooner or later...doesn't it?
i think it's all about probability when you boil it down
you take off boots and you either find angel toes or medusa toes...or of course average toes
and yeah...there are other options possible
every guy wants to find an angel-toed girl, and fears finding a medusa-toed girl
medusapedophobia is the correct term for it i believe
