freezing rain
i pledged my devotion to this beautiful girl....
for we knew we were meant to be
like a treasure out of nowhere
on that night she appeared to me
we talked for hours on end
about what the future has in store
she filled my heart with happiness
she is the one that i adore
when i saw her face for the first time
i thought how beautiful is she
to have her in my life......
it's the way it's meant to be
but then something happened
and it turned things all around
caught in the middle of all of this
has turned my smile into a frown
my feelings for her still grow every day
for in my heart she's started a fire
no matter what the future holds
this angel is the one i desire
like a cold winter morning
when the rain begins to fall
the tears freezing to my face
is how i'm feeling about it all
but the sun will shine again
and melt the tears that have frozen to me
and we will be together
because we are meant to be
