the sunshine of reality
burns off the fog of new passion
and you are left with
the starkness of bedrock truths
such as gravity, the passage of time,

The finite expressions of our love
are only collected
snapshots of who WE are
not the basis of us
nor the framework we have
built up to support this relationship
Instead, real emotions from real souls

The physics of our love is but
