Deep down I knew
that it was the seriousness
of my lust that frightened
her - at first
something she'd never quite
believe until I could
help her see it for what it
was - the desire to love
and be loved from the
blindness that allows us
to be who must be seen
to be understood
to be believed
to be adored
the lust with no name
the lust for a soul stripped bare
the lust for a passion so deep
so overwhelming
it was almost sublime
ephemeral, but the
subtext of all
