"My True Love"

   My true love
   Where might you be?
Here I have waited ever patiently
For a love as true as no other
But the long wait became a burden
and my lonely soul feel as if
It were to wither and die.
If the stars above the night
   Could shed their tears
The land would flood deep with sadness
Pitiful it must be with no one near
To hold all my fragile love
   Within a comforting home
And fill the vast emptiness of my heart
If only there were a one
To give half of the love
That I had kept for so long
And in turn be given the half
She had treasured for many years
Could I then fill the deep Caverns lying within
Creating not a dark and sadden valley
But a paradise I wished for so long
And if I she is never to be found
That is quite fine by me.
I rather live my life sad and alone
Then be married without a meaning in life
