Poem for April

From this moment, with every beat of my heart,
I knew that I would love you from the very start,
For as each day passes, my love for you does grow,
You're the one for me for the rest of my life, I know.

I will treat you like gold, not one ounce less,
I am your prince, you are my princess,
You deserve everything in this world and more,
You already have my heart that is for sure.

Never before have I felt this way,
I just don't have the words to truely say,
That I love you with all of my soul and mind,
For a girl like you is hard to find.

All that I want to say is you mean the world to me,
You're like the sun, moon and stars to me that I see,
My heart is for you and I promise that I will,
Hug you, kiss you and I love you forever, April.
