The Lost Art of Hand Fans and Eye Flirting

Watch her eyes dart as
She dances into the room
She sees everything at once
Great peripheral vision
That’s how she caught your act
Left side nice looking man
Scribbling with pen in hand
The rest were nondescript
Not a buzzards chance in a open meat market
So how can she make this work
She toys with the Merlot glass thinking
She dares not look up
Someone will think she gives a damn
Offering lame lines
Adding to their rejection piles
She sips and purrs
Sips and purrs
Thinking maybe a fan,
The art of eye flirting
Should maybe come back
Finally getting bored
With the dull thuds she hears around her
She focuses on the dance club
Across the street
Making sure you see the lightning striking
The darts of seduction as she moves
Towards the exit
She already knows you parked your pen
And are following
Your eyes just said it all
She just wishes she had brought a fan
Knowing her eyes and tango just said it all
