The Final Goodbye

                             The Final Goodbye

The memories of you will always be there,
With those pretty blue eyes, and that curly blonde hair.

Everywhere I look I see your beautiful face,
And remember our first kiss, which I can still taste.

All of those days that I made you smile,
We laughed, kissed, and even cried for awhile.

Your fragrant perfume still hangs in the air,
A painful reminder that you were once there.

The times that I held you close to my heart,
We were destined to be one, right from the start.

Realizing now that you're leaving me,
I'll lock up my heart and hand you the key.

As I look at you now, the tears in your eyes,
I realize we must say our final goodbyes.
